Flash & The Pan était un groupe musical australien "New Wave" (essentiellement un projet de studio) lancé à la fin des années 1970 par Harry Vanda et George Young, tous deux anciens membres de The Easybeats (Friday on My Mind). Le groupe a enregistré 6 albums entre 1979 et 1992 dont les trois premiers ont eu un certain succès en Australie et Grande Bretagne. Plusieurs titres ont été classés dans les charts en Europe (mais pas en France) : Midnight Man, Waiting For A Train.
